30.10.09 -WELSH TICKET COMPARISON SITE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH ONE OF LARGEST UK TICKETING FIRMS

A Wales-based concert ticket site which has grown from its origins as the official Stereophonics website into one of the UK’s largest ticket comparison websites, has announced a major strategic partnership.

Stereoboard.com - founded by Internet entrepreneur Nigel Sachdev in 2002 - has agreed a partnership with See Tickets, one of the largest UK-owned ticketing firms.
 
The site, which currently compares over 200,000 tickets from over 20,000 events every day from its panel of primary ticket sellers, has now established See Tickets as its preferred primary ticket seller.
 
Nigel Sachdev, Pontypridd-born Managing Director of Stereoboard.com which currently receives over half a million unique visitors a month said:
 
“We are now handling ticket sales worth over £4 million a year and this partnership with a major player such as See will significantly enhance our turnover.  It is paramount that we provide our users with a whole of market comparison from both primary and secondary ticket sellers, and having See onboard hugely expands the service we offer to our users.”
 
In operation the website tracks the availability and prices from leading primary ticket sellers and fan-to-fan ticket exchanges, enabling users to click through and acquire the most economical tickets for the gigs and locations of their choice.  The site also provides constantly updated music news enabling users to find out about the latest tours as soon as they are announced, and before tickets go on sale to the public.
 
The main ethos of the site is to only work with trusted and reputable ticket sellers that are UK-based.  All tickets purchased through Stereoboard.com carry a replacement or money back guarantee in the event of a cancelled gig.
